Craig Miller, the former CEO of Ruth’s Chris, has a lot to regret about his third-place finish behind Karen Diebel and Sandy Adams in the District 24 Republican primary — not least the more than $500,000 of his own money he poured into the race. But he swallowed whatever regrets he has with an endorsement today of the primary winner, Adams.
And according to the Sentinel’s Mark K. Matthews, the Adams campaign said that Miller also promised to help her raise money, which she needs badly.
Miller’s statement:
“I have said from Day 1 that the ultimate goal is to take back the 24th Congressional Seat and replace Suzanne Kosmas. While we fell just short in our effort, I am so pleased that my friend, Sandy Adams, is the nominee. I wholeheartedly endorse Sandy Adams, and encourage all of our supporters and volunteers to join her” he wrote in a statement released by his campaign.
